The sky today
This weekend was Father's day.
My dad is doing all right for his age (87.) I count every day with him as a blessing.
He went to church on Sunday for the first time since the pandemic!
He didn't want to go out to eat so I got donuts (which we haven't had since the pandemic) and a fancy Sub sandwich.
Today the sky was looking fancy.
It's been awhile since I took a picture of just the clouds.
I was quite busy at work, but I could have spent the afternoon just gazing at the dreamy clouds.
After work, I remembered today is a full moon.
I learned a lot when I tried taking a picture of the moon during an eclipse, a few weeks ago.
Today, I added a second tripod, to hold my phone steady against the binocular's eyepiece.
Here are a couple pictures:
The interesting clouds blew away, there's just a trace of them in the bottom picture.
I think this is about as good as I can get, with the binoculars!
I think you moon photos are spectacular. I believe tonight is to be the Strawberry moon? Maybe you can get it too amd make comparisons? Good for your Dad, I am glad he is doing so well. Having a kind daughter surely helps.
