Technology marches on

The other day some water leaked out of a bottle and got into my old flip phone.

It receives calls, but the none of the buttons work.

I took it apart and blew compressed air into it.
I put it in a jar of rice, but I have to leave it there for a few days.

This is so inconvenient, because I can't communicate with my family about Mom.

I already looked into buying a new phone last month, when I lost my iPod, but the company I use will not let me buy the phone, they only finance them, and I would have to upgrade my data plan.

I don't have time to shop for a new phone company.
I guess I have to keep up with the times, though.
A new phone would take the place of my various iPods and cameras.

Somebody put a bunch of green leaves into a vase on the desk.
I did a watercolor sketch.
