I was looking for a photo to show a friend, and I realized I can still log into this blog!
So I will update.
For a while, it seemed that every time I sat down to write in my journal or do a craft, it was time to do something else...
Dad is 91 years old now. ( I don't take a lot of pictures of him, but here he is with the dogs.)
He has been pretty stable this year, but he had pneumonia 2 years ago. He still lives at home, but he has emphysema and needs oxygen 24 hours a day.
My orange dog Sam developed a heart condition and died at age 13, two years ago exactly, on Memorial Day 2023. He was so feisty and healthy I had expected him to live many more years.
I got another Shepherd as a companion to the younger dog Blitz. The new puppy is a Dutch Shepherd mixed with a Belgian Malinois. These are the kind of dogs used by military and police.
I gave him the name Cooper because I thought he was silly and strong, and he is.
Cooper just turned 2 years old.
I am so grateful to have the most clever and handsome dogs in the world.
Training them, especially when they were little, took a lot of time.
Luckily now they are mostly mature, and I can do other things like my crafts again.
That reminds me, it is time for a walk.
