It doesn't feel like September yet

I haven't had time to blog much these past few weeks.

I'm now working Monday thru Friday from 10 to 6 or 12 to 8, and every other Saturday too.

It's not super exciting, mostly the same stuff, different hours.

I could have blogged over Labor Day weekend, but I just wanted to sleep!

There were tons of tasks that needed to be done at work, that I didn't have enough time to do before, like scanning and filing documents.

Very soon, people will learn our new hours, and I will be busy answering phones again and will have to put the filing to the back of the list.

Some one who has learned my new schedule, is a stray cat, Big Red.

He showed up at the church last year when we were closed down.

He was very skinny, and wouldn't let anyone near.

Now, he has become super friendly, and lets almost anyone pet him.

He found out I like animals, and hangs out by the front door and keeps trying to sneak in.

One new thing I get to do at work, is organizing the supply closet and making an inventory.

It is mostly empty because there was a water leak in the building. We had to move things into a drier place. A lot of holes were made in walls, so I wasn't able to do anything right away.

It doesn't sound exciting, but it's nice to be the one who decides what goes where.

I can't wait to Tidy Up, "Marie Kondo" style, on it.

Not all of my time was spent working.

One day, I made these bracelets:

Another day, I decided to make some rings.

I don't think I have made these wire-wrapped bead rings in a couple years at least.

I got many new beads since then, and I wanted to try them out.

It's easy to make many rings in a short while.

This one came out very nice:

Today I hope to make it to the beach before it gets dark.

There probably won't be an interesting sunset, because the sky is dry and cloudless.

I made a video of the rare thunderstorm we had in the middle of the week:
